
I am a Lecturer and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Chair of European and Global Governance at the Technical University of Munich and an Associate Researcher at the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS). Previously, I held lectureships at University of Freiburg, Ruhr University Bochum and Technical University of Munich, and was a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Wrocław. I have also been affiliated with IDOS as a researcher. I received my PhD from Ruhr University Bochum (Chair of International Politics). I hold a BSc and MSc in International Relations from the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey.
My research interests lies in International Relations and International Political Economy, with particular emphasis on the domestic political foundations of foreign economic policy across emerging and advanced economies, as well as global economic governance, populism, poltics of aid, international cooperation, and middle powers.
